Most Linux advocates and zealots are not programmers. This doesn’t stop them from touting the virtues of all the GNU tools they don’t even have the skills to use, however.
When a real developer calls them on their bull and refutes their arguments, the zealot feels cornered and returns with YoureNotADeveloper™! When the developer then refutes this statement, the zealot has his back up against the wall and demands to see some code the developer has written.
Thanks to this line of debate, the TM Repository was created. I think its doubly painful that this site looks infinity better than Windows 7 Sins and actually contains truths, instead of lies.
