I respect Phoronix for this. I am sure they have a lot of readers who tell them to test with Gentoo or Arch if Ubuntu doesn’t give good results.

Recently on Linux Mint forums there was a discussion about Batsov’s rage blog post (http://batsov.com/Linux/Windows/Rant/2011/06/11/linux-desktop-experience-killing-linux-on-the-desktop.htm). In there, there was a user who kept saying that Batsov must be a newbie because he tried only one distro throughout his Linux period. Which was surprising (and infuriating) given that, that particular user seemed to be very knowledgeable.

Not going to post the link, as I don’t trust you trolls to not troll LM forums. :P

Meh, I feel myself turning over to the dark side.
