They only reason people are using Windows is because they just don’t know better. They automatically think that computers are meant to have viruses and bsod every 2 seconds. They just haven’t heard the word of Linux yet. Window User need to be taught that Viruses and errors are not normal and they can use Linux and be free.

If Linux evangelists just yell more on how great Linux is and how Evil and corrupt MSFT is, then maybe we can have a brilliant world where all software is free, just as The Great Stallman would want.

Save those poor souls that are using Windows. No matter how annoyed they get. They will thank you when they are running Linux on everything. *thumbs up

Yeah like nobody in America has seen those “i m a mac, i m a pc” ads, or has never run across a linux netbook in the past.
Or, there is a chance they have and are just not interested.

Sorry for the multiple posts, the browser of my symbian phone appeared not to respond to the pressing of the post button (it just did nothing and eventually timed out) so I pressed it a couple of times again

Yup, after the downfall that is the n series, symbian is now a true open source project

PS: Don’t know how to delete, some admin please do it for me…

Wait… I’m on Win 7… where are my viruses? Where are my bsod’s? huh… come to think of it, I’ve not had to deal with a virus actually being able to do anything to my PC since the very early days of XP. did have a couple bsod’s with Vista early on, but it was due to some really bad stuff in Flash… which Vista told me was the problem and recommended an update to fix it. Linux? Where are my recommendations from you? Yes you… the same you that was able to browse all over the web today after install, but couldn’t even find your own damn repositories. When all you get for repos in Linux is a 404 error… you are SCREWED!

Yeah, I haven’t had a Virus or BSOD since I switched to Vista 3 years ago. (Well to be honest, when testing Win7 Beta, I got a BSOD when I try to shutdown my computer xD) I’ve had more problems on my BSD box and running Fedora 13 than I do with Windows.

The Linux Fanboys(or Fangirls) need to find some other reason to convert people away from that “evil company’ we all call M$.

I do recall some kernel panics with Linux in HyperV, but BSODs? pfff, well sysinternals got a screensaver to get you that feeling back on Windows 7!

Viruses?! My god, do people still get those? How?

BSODs however are very much still a reality – all you need is a driver with that special touch.

Sometime in the future MS will put an end to this by mandating the use of generic (MS) drivers, or Intel will, by ousting all of the incompetent “competition”.

Sorry, TMR appeared nonresponsive – well apparently it did respond, it just didn’t tell me about it.

Well no harm done, we all like double posts right? :)

#13 Posted by zombieChan on Sep 14, 2010 12:44 AM

Well there’s already a triple post in this one, why not a double post.

“Save those poor souls that are using Windows.”

Where it says “save”, you are a bad Photoshopper.

@ReactOS

Yeah, I’m not good at that, plus I did that in MSPaint
