The claim the due to Windows lacking a Command Line Interface, Windows users have become lazy. Of course this is easily refuted by the existence of Power-shell or even the command prompt.

As inspired by this quote:

Another thing is, they’re afraid of the Terminal. These people are spoiled rotten by Windows! They don’t know what it was really like during the MS/PC-DOS days. They’re heard rumors and now they equate anything that involve typing commands as extremely hard and tedious. Lazy bastards.

Er, I’m a Windows user and I was around in DOS days even before Windows 3.1. To this day I still remember most DOS commands (when I use DOSBox, it comes back to me like the proverbial bicycle that one never forgets how to ride).

The standard freedomite rebuttal to the above is usually “yes but linux commands are a gazillion times more powerful than dos commands lolz”. Classic goal post-moving tactic.

But this is the typical attitude of the freedomite community. People don’t adopt Linux and the community starts bleating excuses ranging from user stupidity to sabotage by Microsoft. They never apply Occam’s Razor and consider for a moment that perhaps the simplest explanation is that Linux is not suited for mass-adoption.

This linked post is gold.

“They hate it for the sake of hating it, probably
because their afraid of change.”

I wonder if the author ever read a single post on LHB.

Windows makes you productive, something freetards don’t seem to grasp.
