A particularly brain-dead “barb” from the people who brought us M$, windoze, and the rest. It refers, of course, to Windows 7. Once we’ve picked ourselves off the floor from ROFLMAYOing, let’s consider the following:
(1) Vista is now up to SP2, or possibly SP3 (I’m not au courant with it)
(2) Vista SP1 (the real one) was an actual fix to most, if not all, the problems that people encountered with the original Vista. Compare and contrast with DistroX™.
(3) Even if Win 7 was simply a service pack for Vista (it isn’t), it seems to be wildly popular with users. Users don’t give a toss whether something is a point release or a complete redesign from scratch. Users just want their computer to work.
I think I’ll start referring to Lucid Lynx as “Hardy minus minus.” That would be even funnier (and arguably more accurate).

Roy approves the terms “Vista 7” and “Vista 8”, I think.
All people deserve good life and business loans or student loan can make it better. Just because freedom is grounded on money state.
Yep. Another attempt at “humor” from the Linux crowd.
If you take this into account with the LGA, “Kill Bill” and the endless recursive acronyms… well… all I have to say is, guys, try not to hurt yourselves too badly when you fall over backwards from laughter, or something.
