I’ve noticed this a lot, recently. Some random berk, let us call him Robert Pogson (although I’m being unfair. The Looniverse is filled with random berks) spouts off about something he knows nothing about.

Let us say, for example, the Linux kernel. Or the projected world domination of Gnu/Android. Or the breeding habits of sea-horses … you get the picture, it doesn’t really matter what.

This would be on a Linux blog, or even on a Tech site (SJVN, I’m thinking of you).

And instead of heaping scorn on the muddled little author of this nonsense, what do the commentators say?

“Very interesting…”

But stupid, nonetheless.
