Something’s been bugging me about RMS. Not the usual stuff — intransigent, senseless, lost in a 70s timewarp, etc — but this nagging feeling that I’ve seen him somewhere else.

Whilst comparing the word “imminent” (which is of course a Linux fanboi argument sans pareil) with what I think they mean (“immanent”), the picture above sprang instantly to mind.

I know we talk about Linux fanboism being based on empty religious beliefs that only result in a few cult leaders getting obscenely rich on the fruits of the labour of other people, but this is eery.
