These are special clichés which are aimed at Linux Hater. Apparently, he (and anyone else critical of Linux) doesn’t really hate Linux. They’re closet lovers but feel the OS needs “tough love” to make it better. Because, you know, it’s impossible to hate Linux unless you’re Bill Gates or something.
