In many ways, FOSS is a lot like karaoke.
You get a bunch of amateurs to try and mimic a professional song as best they can. At it’s worst, the results are terrible, at it’s best it’s still not as good as the original.
FOSS often tries to do the same thing, duplicating as best they can, but always falling short. In other words, they know all the words, they just don’t know how to sing.
A freetard claiming Linux is just as good as Windows or OSX is like a music fan claiming we should all listen to cover bands as an “alternative” to the original band.

Yes, because people who work on open source at Google or a million other different companies are all amateurs.
But when you close the source and and Bill Gates takes a sh!t in the box, you are left with a masterpiece.

Keep shifting those goal posts Adam. Even android itself is a me-too duplicate of the iPhone.
OpenOffice is a poor clone of Office, GIMP is a poor clone of Photoshop, they don’t even HAVE a clone of the Flash IDE, etc.
