Don’t like your desktop? Is it too fussy? Too spartan?
Try another one. There’s nothing like RandomFun™, when you want to get your computer to work.
Perhaps there’s something a little … you know … Not Quite Our Sort with the distro you’re using. No matter! Swap it! Reinstall from scratch! RandomFun™ is your friend and ally!
Maybe your WiFi has suddenly and unexpectedly started to work on your Linux Desktop! RandomFun™! But wait … it gets better! In six months’ time (or less. It’s random!) your WiFi will probably stop working altogether! RandomFun™!
And here’s the best part about RandomFun™!
You will never, ever, be able to tell in advance which bit or bits of your natty little machine will suddenly and sullenly refuse to co-operate.
That’s the beauty of Desktop Linux.
RandomFun™!

I wish I could have some RandomFun™ on Windows. Because it does sound like much more fun to keep installing different distros until I find one that works. I mean, they are all free, right?
It just goes to show how out of touch such people can be. Like my 70 year-old grandfather who hasn’t touched a computer since Windows 98 wants to install an operating system just 'cause. Like he would even know where to begin, because every time he asks about a problem/feature in Windows, he says “Why didn’t Bill Gates do it like this?” Haha.
I wish I could have some RandomFun™ too!
