Usually Linux User say all you need to do to get Malware on a Windows Machine is to Turn it On and connect to the internet. After starting up Internet Explorer your harddrive is filled with Malware. Has nothing to do with downloading Porn or Pirated Software. So even if there’s malware for Linux, it’s not like Windows where you just PlugInGetVirus.

Preston Gralla is officially listed as a “paid microsoft shill” on the BoycottNovell site.
Like I told NoWhereMan once:
A Windows user, in the real world:
“Well, I just finished that Excel spreadsheet. I think I’ll load music to my ipod and then have a round of Left4Dead 2.”
How Linux users imagine it:
“ZOMG ZOMG ZOMG!!!! I JUST BOOTED INTO WINDOWS 2 MINUTES AGO AND I ALREADY HAD 10 BSODS, 200 VIRUS INFESTATIONS AND MS STOLE ALL THE PERSONAL INFORMATION FROM MY HD!!!!!! FUUUUUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
Try adding some related trademarks, zombieChan. LinuxIsMalwareProof is a good candidate.
By the way, the link is glitched.
Thanks fix it, sorta.
I laughed hard after reading the Linux user Imagine. XD
Of course Preston Gralla is a Shill, why else would someone like Microsoft Products. XD

Just out of a very faint interest, I checked out what Dr Roy calls “Paul Allen’s C|Net.” I was intrigued to learn why Stephen Shankland is worth a 4. Let’s see: http://news.cnet.com/8301-30685_3-20013687-264.html
“Five years after Sun Microsystems began a bold effort to rejuvenate Solaris by attracting outside programming involvement, Oracle apparently is scrapping what remains of the OpenSolaris project.”
I’d give the lad 10 out of 5. Why bother trying to understand OpenSolaris and its relationship to mainstream Solaris, when you can just froth?
Someone should fix that credibility list of his. No way that Stallman and Steven Vaughan is a 5.
Well, it sort of depends upon what you’re looking for, and how you measure that. Be aware that Dr Roy actually has a doctorate, from a reputable university (Manchester).
The only reason that RMS and SJVN are at 5 is because there’s nothing higher than 5.
So sad, in so many ways.
It’s also worth googling BoycottNovell and/or Schestowitz to discover how much he is loathed by the very community he claims to represent.
“Viruses, trojans, adware, spyware… Windows lets all these enter your computer pretty easily. The average period of time before a Windows PC (connected to the Internet and with a default “Service Pack 2” installation) gets infected is 40 minutes (and it sometimes takes as little time as 30 seconds).”
( from whylinuxisbetter.net )
Does somebody know what a 'default “Service Pack 2” installation’ is though?
It must be the new Windows 7 Service Pack 2, we do all know that apart from being clairvoyant, LY are also privy to MS software years ahead of its launch or even its compilation, thanks to the PowerOfTheSourceTM.
It’s grim news indeed for MS – Win 7 will have a hard time come SP2 in 2014 – the LY say so.
You’ve read it here first, folks … oh wait.
On a serious note though, this attitude has real consequences, namely, unknowledgeable users are scared to a point, where they consider their computer too dangerous for real work.
This has been stopping the spread of digital document handling and e-Economy in general.
The damage caused by the panic probably dwarfs the cost of security related EsotericWorkaroundsTM required to enable safe e-life.
