Wanna buy a piece of software? Really? Are you nuts?
Why would you ever want to pay for anything? In the fantastic world of FOSS, you don’t need to pay for proprietary software ever again!
Why pay for supported, quality software when you can have a hard drive full of partially completed, kinda-sorta-working FOSS applications? And shareware? Hah. No need for that. It’s a scam, anyway.
If you can’t see the code, it ain’t worth downloading.

Yeah, just like I’d love to play partially completed video games. In another month or so, the developer should have the level I’m playing finished. After that, he’s hoping to get around to fixing the “die when I use the mouse” bug.
Not to poop on the efforts of those who actually try to make software that doesn’t blow, but there’s way too much crap out there. Not only that, people who actually want to be paid for their efforts don’t even pay Linux any mind as a platform because of the (usually very vocal) idiots who want to keep the platform “pure”.
If I were a dev and wanted to make a crossplatform app, and some Linux loons started demanding me to completely open source my work when I had no intention on doing so, I’d just ignore them. It’s hostile, I think, to have this expectation that everything must be open or you’re “against the cause”. GPL’d or the highway? Please. lol
I don’t give a flying crap if something’s FOSS or not. I just want it to work. If I do buy something, it’d better be my money’s worth.
I laughed at this one!
I scroll down and this comes out of nowhere!
