The moment Microsoft’s stock makes any sort of downward movement, freetards jump all over it, claiming it to be a death spiral.
Ironically, Linux zealots spend more time looking at the MSFT stock than people who actually own said stock. The average Windows user doesn’t own Microsoft stock, nor do they really care what their quarterly earnings were.

You’re just in denial. They’re dyin man, just look at their quarterly!
Frak, I own your code. (Isn’t the GPL a wonderful, liberating thing?)
Your entire system is dyin, man. I’d love to help you, but you know what they say about us scorpions.
And once Microsoft dies, Windows will cease to exist. It will uninstall itself from every computer known to run it and automagically, everyone will automatically install Linux as a result.
Because, you know, everyone knows about Linux.
Also notice that Apple doesn’t exist or – alternativley – Mac users spend WAY too much money and because Macs are soooo expensive they won’t overtake either.
Actually, MS.. oh my mistake, it should be M$, because that makes you smart – is just staying relevant because they spread FUD about Linux, which they’ve got to as Linux is all the way awesome and perfect, and just didn’t overtake the world yet due to M$$$ FUD.
Oh ya.
