A shortened form of MagicCombinationOfFSpotGimpAndFirefox™ or similar. This trademark denotes the tendency of new Linux distribution release notes to be devoid of any information other than how the already stale versions of applications in the software repository have been rev’ed to only slightly less stale versions for the new release.

Consider also the relation to UseDistroX™, where this argument is used to suggest switching when the only appreciable difference is the version number of the software in the repositories.
This trademark also offers insight into why modern Linux distributions are so broken. Since they have no way of differentiating themselves from their competitors the only recourse they have is to bump revision numbers in the hopes of attracting “Ooh! New! Shiney!” crowd by shipping bleeding edge software. The most extreme example of this tendency is the kubuntu release notes which are several weeks old at the time of writing yet tout their KDE 4 version of K3b. At the time of writing, the newest KDE 4 integrated K3b has the version number 1.69.0 alpha4.
