The idea that Linux had many common applications before Microsoft or Apple.

A good example of this is Compiz being released before Aero. Microsoft obviously used their time machine to do recreate Compiz three years ahead of the first Compiz release.

linux is the socialism of software. everything they did is a copy off proprietary (capitalist) competition. but both believe that OSS (socialism) releases the material productive forces (basementdeveloperarmy) to allow unprecedented development.
