What’s my evidence to counter this? The release notes of every version of Ubuntu.
Adam King picks on Vista, but what he doesn’t realize is that nearly every problem that plagued Vista SP0 has been fixed. Have the problems that plagued (for example, not just picking on Ubuntu here) Ubuntu 9.10 been fixed in Ubuntu 9.10?

“nearly every problem that plagued Vista SP0 has been fixed”
Really, so no more patches for Vista? What is “nearly”? lololo
Do you guys even read what you right before you post it?
right = write. :P
Just one minor thing:
It’s “RTM” (“release to manufacturing”), not “SP0”.
FOSS is like an excuse for people to get lazy, hoping that a programmer will come by and fix it for them.
Of course, now a user comes by and haves problems with it? Now do you think he/she can fix it themselves? ...
If you’re going to release a new version of a piece of software, you’re allowed to introduce new bugs so long as the majority of the old ones are fixed.
Ubuntu rarely bothers since their release schedule is running at such a breakneck pace it’s almost impossible to clean up their old mess before making a new one.
