A disclaimer used by a Linux Youth before they are about to express a positive thought about Windows, Office, or any other piece of Microsoft software, or about Microsoft in general.

Linux Youth know that the second you say anything positive about something related to Microsoft, you are actually admitting to being on Microsoft’s payroll. The phrase “I’m not a MS fanboy, but…” is the only way that a Linux Youth can say something positive about Microsoft and not be shunned and ostracized by the rest of the Linux community.

Heh, I can just picture it along the lines of a gay youth coming out the closet:

<linux youth guy> I was so confused. I knew I was so different from my friends. They all liked Linux, but I started to notice that I kinda... well... liked Windows... of course, I wouldn't own up to it, for fear my friends might disown me. Once or twice I'd slip up, but I was able to quickly save myself by saying "... but I'm not an MS fanboy". The truth is, I love MS, but my friends would never understand.
