This is a little unfair, because Google actually has stats. They have stats on everything. They have to; it’s their business.
But when a Loon comes out with this, it’s more along the lines of “I typed XYZ into Google Search, and it comes back with “About 1,999,801 results!”
“It must be significant!”
Yes, in the sense that you are significantly missing that part of your brain commonly known as “rational.”
I long to hear of a Loon diligently scrolling down to page 50,000 … or even to page 5 … because as we all know, the relevance drops off rather rapidly; even if it was there in the first place.
I’m sure they all have good intentions, and would indeed do this, if only they weren’t busy reinstalling the latest version of Ubuntu LTS, now with added wireless support and only a few Python tweaks required ... but, like Adam King and Wikipedia, they generally don’t get past the first link on page one and actually read the article.

Funny how none of them are eager to post the declining Ubuntu lines on Google Trends.
It’s not declining, it’s a conspiracy!!
