Well, somebody over on LHB asked for it, although not necessarily as a TM.

We need to be prepared for the eventuality, though, don’t we?

Sooner or later, the tech press will give up altogether on Linux desktops (they’ve already given up on grid computing, thin clients, and other gibberish — even Torvalds has given up on Linux Desktops), and …

... I don’t know about you, but I’m going to need somebody else to laugh at.

They’ll also give up on Teh CloudzzTM… when enough readers are bitten by cloud outages, etc.

I wonder what companies will do, when first corporate victims go under, after clouds turn out to be hurricanes…

I’d love to see some lawsuits for journalistic malpractice.

It’s not my fault. It’s your fault. WorksForMe™ ...

... except that this would be demonstrably false in the Cloud.

I’m gagging for it, personally.

The cretin journalists don’t actually use the sh*t they keep shilling for.

It’s the rest of us that get to swim in it.

They don’t need to do the WorksForMe™ argument, it doesn’t work for them, it never did, that’s beside the point – ItWorksForUs™ – by their will(!) and if it does not, well, then it must be OurFault™.

That we should dare to disagree with their theory! Call the thought police… oh dear I’m so sorry, the GNU/thought police.
