Clearly the biggest issue as represented by Canonical’s Chocolate Factory is that it doesn’t just need to be an alternative operating system, or a tandem operating system to Microsoft Windows and Mac OSX, it simply must supplant both of them as the Benevolent And Supreme Operating System For Life, as evidenced by Launchpad.com’s Bug Number One: – Microsoft has a majority market share.

Priorities, as brought by the people who ram PulseAudio down our throats.

Because Microsoft having a "monopoly" over the desktop market is bad, but a Linux-based company with the same market share would be just fine.

Linux can do no wrong, were it to have majority market share the world would be perfect.

Like the freedomites say, "it's not a bug, it's a feature!"

Funny thing is that if Ubuntu becomes the number one OS in some alternate universe, then Canonical would instantly become teh evil! They would be accused for forcing companies to open source their drivers so they can get inside the kernel, and for forcing developers either to open source their software, or to publish patches every six years in order to fix the biannualforceddeathmarch.

In other words, Canonical would be more evil than M$! And windows users will be the evangelists...

Imagine articles like "We want closed sourced drivers" and "We want more proprietary software. Bliss!

I like the line underneath it -- "This bug affects 942 people."
