An unusual trademark because it has a smattering of truth to it. Nonetheless, it’s just another attempt at shifting the blame.

Zealotry, double-speak, Linux fanaticism and FOSS devotion are, according to some members of FOSS/Linux, the responsibility of Ubuntu and its legion of starry-eyed followers.

Of course, the rest of us know that zealotry has been part-and-parcel of the FOSS movement since its inception, and that Linux fanaticism dates back many years before Ubuntu was even a sketch.

Freedomites who claim this are at least aware enough to realize that the movement is a cult. Maybe one day they’ll be willing to take the blame too. Nice try, though.
