For once, Pogson isn’t alone in his lunacy. There are several other intellectually deficient mental midgets out on the Web that claim that state-sponsored murder, rape, torture and rampant corruption is morally equivalent to a company forcing you to use an operating system on a bulk discount of roughly $30.
And they may well be right. Who am I to argue about moral equivalency?
I hereby freely admit that I did not stand up in Tahrir Square and take the bullets and tear gas. I was never at any time near Benghazi. Bahrain is a foreign country to me.
And curiously enough, the same thing can be said about Pogson and the rest of the Loons. I’ll bet that not a single one of these feebs even subscribe to Amnesty International, or to PEN, or to Human Rights Watch.
When it comes to actual, real, honest-to-whichever-god-you-do-or-do-not-believe-in, belief in freedom, these people just won’t pony up the small change.
Well, sod them. They are unworthy in the sight of the turtle.

Heart-felt gratitude to everyone over at Linux Hater’s Blog who highlighted this insanity; and they were gloriously many. I’m sorry I’m a little late in posting it, and I’m sorry it’s entirely derivative. Some things need to be hammered into thick skulls, however, and this is one of them. As one poster on LHB said (in so many words), “would you trust this man with your children?”
