I’d actually love to provide the Python video for this, but I can’t. I seriously find it difficult to see the name “Stormy Peters” without thinking “it’s bleedin’ seabird flavour, innit?” The fact that the bird (the stormy petrel, that is; I’m not being derogatory here) is named after a diminutive of St Peter doesn’t help much.

Anyway, that was totally irrelevant. What we have here, children, is a Failure To Communicate.

Specifically, Gnome ain’t going nowhere without a Foothold on the Clouds. I wish Tolkein was around to explain this better; possibly in elvish.

The open source community has fallen behind Google and other proprietary web services developers and must write more Affero GPL-based web services, integrate them better with the Linux desktop and offer hosting services for open source web services such as Gobby.

Who says Linux isn’t funny?

I don’t want to spoil the rest of this brief article for you: it’s full of joy. Bless!

Oh, and if you ever wanted to know what an Affero GPL-based license is, and how it protects Free Code in teh Cloudz, may I refer you to the by now familiar source of legal gibberish. Let me know if you’ve got any clue what that means, or how it helps in any way.
