Isn’t it nice to know that no matter what goes wrong finding an intertubes scapegoat for the problem is as easy as locating the M and $ keys on your keyboard.

Apparently a Microsoft partner did some of the engineering work for Toyota’s control software. Thus, a set of assertions clearly follows through innuendo. Firstly, Microsoft tried to get Toyota to use C# and .NET in the cars. Secondly, Microsoft tried to steer the course of the software platform used in the cars.

His head explodes about halfway down the posting, which is faster than usual.

Microsoft sought to corrupt ITRON — by suggesting an industry partnership on standards. Oh, the corruption!

The bit on QNX is seriously flaky. I’ve worked with QNX, and I’ve worked in the automotive industry, but — at the same time? Oh, it’s for in-car entertainment, in a concept car.

“Honey, the throttle stuck open and the kids are dead. But don’t worry! The DVD player still works!”

I’ve known all along that Roy is a doctor. A spin doctor.

Pretty soon he’s gonna blame Microsoft for the middle-east crisis, the recession, swine flu and the boils on his arse.
