So, in the first of todays truly hilarious articles from Boycott Novell, we see the Microsoft is dumping… something. Its not entirely clear how this is a valid complaint. Upon reading the article title you may find yourself scratching your head. After all, could Microsoft even dump against something with freedom.
The article quotes a Microsoft training program that provides free training on Microsoft software to candidates. Sounds like a reasonable idea to most thinking people. After all, despite claims to the contrary, Microsoft’s technology is ubiquitous and people in unskilled jobs could potentially get ahead in life by learning how to manage it. Apparently that is wrong. Its only enlightened self-interest. Microsoft provides training to people (in theory bettering their lives by extension) and Microsoft’s products continue to have a large number of workers that are familiar with them. Makes sense and doesn’t seem particularly evil. Besides, anyone with half a brain can retrain between different systems that do essentially the same thing without excessive amounts of effort.
Oh well, if it’s Microsoft that’s involved its a pox upon land.

Once again, if FOSS/Linux was as perfect as the zealots claim it to be, all this “dumping” would be in vain since good products speak for themselves.
I mean, how is it possible to make something that’s supposedly perfect look bad?
“The world is moving beyond Microsoft. Recent surveys showed that demand for GNU/Linux skills is soaring, whereas it is diving for Windows.”
These “recent surveys” are conspicuous by their absence.
1: Read article.
2: Think “WTF?”
3: ?????

“Microsoft is moving workforce to India, so it’s important for Microsoft to ensure that the country is a monoculture.”
Yep, they want to make sure that 100% of all Indians are purely biological products grown out of Microsoft’s..eh Micro$oft I mean – evil seeds.
To be fair, Linux is hardly a culture at all, except in the Petri dish sense. And, since the site is called BoycottNovell, he might be lobbing a free powder-puff at Mono.
Or perhaps not.
