Just some guy who managed to snag the .org extension for AnythingButMicrosoft.

He encourages us to use Firefox (okay), Thunderbird (reasonable) and OpenOffice (so close, but you just struck out!). Ironic since he’s using a table-based layout rather than standards-compliant HTML/CSS that can be rendered by Firefox!

I’m sure he would encourage us to use it on “Anything But Windows”, but he might want to change that tune when he realizes that almost 90% of all Firefox usage comes from Windows.

He loses even more credibility when he claims we should all be using Novell for networking. Yeah! IPX protocol 4 life! I guess he didn’t get the memo that we should all Boycott Novel

He claims “as far as I know, these products do everything Microsoft products do…”. Spoken like a true freetard, using anecdotal evidence to try and prove a point. I wonder if he’s ever tried to get Thunderbird to sync a calendar to an Exchange server…oh wait, Thunderbird has no calendar and Sunbird sucks!

Comedy gems abound.

“as far as I know”

Translation: he doesn’t know well at all.

The “design” it hurts my eyes T_T

“The security community refers to Outlook as LookOut! and Microsofts back-end e-mail server, Exchange, is called Virus Exchange by many security experts.”

I don’t know about you guys, but I haven’t heard either called either of those, ever.

I guess he figures “clever” puns make up for his total lack of knowledge or fact.

Well, it’s not that I mind taking the mickey out of things and forming puns out of names. But those are just, well, lame.

“Take a look at this server survey. Netcraft Web Server Survey. You’ll notice that Microsoft peaked at about 34% TWO YEARS ago, and has LOST market share since. Why? Punitive licensing and costs? Higher cost of ownership? A perceived lack of any real security? Unstable products? Lack of standards compliance?”

Probably the “security community” he’s referring to is like the “Linux programming community” – JUST NOT EXISTING outside his own freetardia!

btw, how did I know, that a whois lookup will lead me to a suburban-mom’s-basement? well, I knew!
