The really funny thing about this site is that, as Windows progressed, the points went outdated one by one. If it was possible to trim out all the points that have become outdated, you would see all the points magically disappear with only “Freedom!” remaining (not freedom in the general sense, more like what freetards want from the software industry).
Weather Bug anyone?? Since years and years ago? yeah… that’s some reaaaaaaal great Linnovation there freetardia. sigh. Just one of the many reasons Windows is better I guess.
Wait, no, the last one says that in GNOME 3 (Or more accurately, GNOME Shell), only GNOME developers are smart enough to decide which things go in the top bar. Other developers should use the message tray instead.

Wow, you don’t see that in any other operating system.
Just one reason out of many on why Linux is better.

I think I was too harsh though :(

There might be many, but this isn’t one of them. You can get similar widgets in Windows and Mac OS X.
That’s got to be one of the ugliest weather widget.

“My name is Manu Cornet. I don’t have many friends, Linux doesn’t have many users…maybe I can be Linux’s friend.”

LOL now look who’s using the Hoppi quote.
I thought we kissed that goodbye years ago.
Well, you never quite know on the Intertubez, but apparently Mike is now more concerned about tapeworms.
Linux? It’s tapeworm-free!

This is a bit different, it’s an actual plugin to Gnome Panel. Not a widget in the Mac OS X sense.

I don’t think it’s a question of “smart.” That would be an unfair competition for Gnome developers. It’s more a question of “aesthetic taste.”
Gnome developers have that in abundance.
It’s sad that you have to download some proprietary 3rd party app to get half of what is available in Gnome by default.
It’s sad that anybody would want half of what Gnome has by default.
Is this “proprietary app” of which you speak “Windows 95,” by any small chance?

He said 'half’ not 'twice’.

Dunno but this weather thingy on my screen which came with Windows, by default.
