You can be certain that whenever a site makes the distinction “gnu”, it ranks especially high on the Freedomite scale.
All things considered, though, GG/L is relatively tame; it looks like a watered-down version of Manu’s site. Nonetheless, there’s plenty of evangelistic rants on “software freedom” and why Windows is bad for everybody.
Once you get into the “Switch to Linux” section, it goes into FUD overdrive; Linux is way more secure, programs are way more awesome and Linux is just an all-round marvel of software engineering. It has an obscure section at the bottom detailing where Linux has issues, but, of course, it’s the fault of the companies who don’t make their drivers open. So now you know.

The “Why Not Windows” pagelet is pretty good FUD too. It echoes RMS’ claim that Trusted Computing is “downright frightening” (http://www.gnu.org/philosophy/can-you-trust.html) without saying why. I mean, for the life of me, I don’t see how the thing can be dangerous unless it’s the only option; and for DoD purposes it’s practically essential.
The signoff on that page is great:
“Many people find that Windows, an otherwise decent piece of software, withdraws so many rights from them, that it is not worth them using it.”
Otherwise decent? Do I hear the sound of scales dropping from eyes?
