Now all you winbreds can shut up about GNU/Linux not having your precious photoshop.

It’s not Photoshop, and Android tablets are not Linux. And we don’t care in any case.

But otherwise, Adam, you are absolutely spot on.

How humiliating for us.

Android GNU/Linux apps can be run on other GNU/Linux systems as soon as the kernels synchronize.

“Android GNU/Linux”

Really Adam I fear your condition is getting worse by the minute.

“as soon as the kernels synchronize”

A touch of Kim’s “multiple kernels” story, eh?

Also, I wasn’t aware that they “synchronize” kernels nowadays, does this action somehow allow Linux to play audio (without problems) like Android? Video perhaps? No?

Oh wait, this “synchronization” thing… this isn’t just a fit of your imagination, eh Adam?

@RC:

Don’t be silly, of course it isn’t a fit of Adam’s imagination.

He doesn’t have an imagination.

A fit of religious lunacy, then?

#6 Posted by DrLoser on Jan 25, 2012 6:21 PM

Religious, Mon Empereur?

Religious? As regards Adam’s Loonacy,

“Je n’avais pas besoin de cette hypothèse-là.”

#7 Posted by ReverseControllerSE on Jan 25, 2012 6:28 PM

Well, give him some credit, I mean he has to be above common lunacy, no?

Oh, well.

“Well, give him some credit, I mean he has to be above common lunacy, no?”

I fear that when I had a nice friendly chat with Adam about alcohol and Dr Loser came up with FriendsOfAdamKing™, we accidentaly unlocked his dark side, he hasn’t posted as Adam since then. Now he is dual class – level 30 religious lunatic/level 10 freetard.
So, yeah, you could say he is way above common lunacy. :)

Interesting powers, those.

Can I buy a paint-it-yourself metal troll down at Games Workshop that comes with such a guarantee?

Obviously I’d have to crochet a dinky little Baltimore Orioles hat for it.

Wait, am I a part of a strangely low-tech MMORPG?

Is this what GNU/FLOSS is all about?

Dear Lord!

(Remember how I said WannaBeFree is going to ignore the story with the security hole in the linux kernel and come back as if nothing has happened?)

“Android GNU/Linux apps can be run on other GNU/Linux systems as soon as the kernels synchronize.”

Are you serious? I would very much like to see a tutorial detailing how to achieve this.

Let me guess, there is some obscure project in alpha promising to do this? But! It’s going to be usable some day, and Android apps will run on Linux. If you think of it, it’s possible to run apps of any OS on Linux, all we need is a proper emulator. All you have to do is wait, till the Chosen One emulator arrives that will allow us to run apps for other OSes in our Linux. See? We don’t need to create a proper API, all we gotta do is create a paper and duct-tape implementation of someone else’s API.

PS: If someone manages to run Android apps on Linux, it would be particularly funny, since many Android apps are multi-touch, and multitouching is something you can’t achieve with a mouse.
