I wish we could say something on his last post, but only real men (aka basement dwellers) can post. Guessing if he will quit TMR forever as well.
I’ll always remember him for his abuse of Godwin’s Law (He would call you Nazi in 3 posts or less).

I’ve been talking about docking phones with full blown OS for 2 or 3 years already. So, obviosly, I think this (docking PC/phones – not Ubuntu) is future. As for the news – it’s a good example of LinuxHadItFirst™.
Who cares if it fails miserably for most usecases even on a standalone desktop (now we can have updates as rarely as Android, but with high chances to mess things up inherited from Ubuntu). Who cares if none of ODMs signed up for this. WE HAD IT FIRST YOU SUCKERS.
Somehow it reminds me Microsoft’s tablet story at CES 2010 couple months ahead of iPad.
