I know it’s just Slashdot.
I know there are dozens of these people out there, though not as many as they think they are.
I know it bears an uncanny resemblance to Techrights.
But this here is the FUD Tracker, right? It’s good to remind ourselves, every now and again, that there are obsessional FUDDY Loons out there.

Twitter is not just some random idiot.
Twitter is the Arch-loon.
He’s known for spamming Slashdot with about 16 sockpuppet accounts where he would link ceaselessly to BoycottNovell, spew ridiculous garbage about MS as fact, and engage in multiple person conversations with HIMSELF in vain attempts to get his submissions and posts modded up. That all his accounts hit the /. Karma hell was due to MS and trolls “gaming” Slashdot’s moderation. (Irony is lost on Twitter.) Oh, and he does also refer to himself in the third person.
He was also suspected of having over 30 “troll-puppet” accounts which were used for posts equivalent to RaceGuy on LHB.
The similarity to BoycottNovell is no coincidence. Twitter would act as Schestowitz’ attack dog in the BN comments (when people bothered commenting) and shout down/insult/smear anyone who was beating down Roy (ie. most posters who weren’t Boycott-boys) using a variety of sockpuppet accounts.
Although Roy makes a big deal of hating people who use pseudonyms (“nyms” – a usage Twitter quickly picked up) and sockpuppets, and would append snarky red text to the end of other suspected proxy users and sockpuppets, he turned a blind eye when it’s his side doing it.

Oh, but he is.
He’s been “advocating” Linux and Free Software for over a decade so it’s probably not a short-term trolling expedition.
